window CIGS Cells against Uranium Chimea

A kilo of CIGS integrated into a solar cell would produce as much electricity as five kilos of enriched uranium
recently perhaps by the influence of the nuclear disaster in Japan I have become more active in this blog. I am actually excited and almost obsessed with the topic of energy. If you've read
my opinions will know that I firmly believe that the path starts with individual initiative. And that means using existing and recusos. Ie connect to the network as providers and not just as consumers. Or at least invest in the bill and go off like going to see coming to full use. But they say it is expensive ... I'll discuss later, but at least with the arrival of CIGS (still not sold on a large scale) that is cheaper.

Stay tuned to this new material that performs better and is cheaper than silicon.
I leave you with this article

A kilo of CIGS solar cell integrated into a produce much electricity as five kilos of enriched uranium

The information has been collected from a multinational study of Nanosolar, who claim to be "building the largest solar cell factory in the world in California." This company will be present on 29 January in Seville at the International Conference on Low Cost Solar Energy, which will be presentations on new solar technologies: organic polymers, plastic solar cells and CIGS thin film cells (an acronym referring to the combination of copper, indium, gallium and selenium). The multinational has Nanosolar released a study showing that "a kilo of CIGS solar cell integrated into a produce as much electricity as five kilos of enriched uranium at a nuclear power."
According to Energy-Global Events division Brent Energy Consulting & Trading, responsible for organizing the Conference of Seville, "this information on the efficiency of this technology is attached to its low cost and its many applications, which make with other solar technologies such as organic and plastic in the future of solar energy worldwide. " CIGS cells do not integrate solar grade silicon, a key element (And expensive) for conventional solar cells.
Each volt generated in our own home again all us away from dependence on oil and nuclear betting corporations. But also can protect us from a power outage and the rise in energy prices.
